Terms of Service

By accessing or using Project Vault ("the Service"), operated by Project Vault App LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Project Vault is a cloud-based platform designed to help municipalities and government entities manage construction projects and associated documentation. The Service includes project tracking, document storage, reporting, and team collaboration tools.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to municipal project management. You shall not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (b) upload malicious code or content; (c) use the Service to violate any applicable local, state, or federal law; or (d) share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties.

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload or create within the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. We are granted a limited license to host, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We understand the sensitive nature of municipal data. All data is stored on secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure within the United States, with encryption at rest and in transit. We will cooperate with public records requests as required by applicable law. Data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Access to the Service requires an active subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and plan features are described on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, we reserve the right to delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROJECT VAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
